Oak Tree Music organizes a number of regular events around the Vancouver area. Stay tuned to catch the next show!
Vancouver Women in Songwriting
Vancouver Women in Songwriting celebrates women in the Vancouver music community and their insane talent. The amount of talent in this city blows my mind every single day!! I feel so fortunate to be able to give them all a space to share their art and their love for music, so they can inspire others.
We had the first edition on September 18th, 2026 at Trees Coffee, in collaboration with Metro Vancouver Open Mic (https://metrovanopenmic.ca/)
We’re getting ready for the second edition in January 2027. Stay Tuned!!
OPEN MIC
In collaboration with Idio Sound Lab, I co-host a popular open mic the last Tuesday of the month at 7pm.
Musicians from all over the metro Vancouver area have come to our past editions and they all said it is a very intimate, respectful and quiet environment where they can share their music and be themselves.
Come early to save your space! Spots fill up quickly!
We’re at 625 5th Avenue in New Westminster.
BC’s SONG OF 2026
For the last 3 years I’ve been the Chief Operations Officer and co-host of the radio show Unsigned BC at Vancouver Coop Radio.
Every year we have the BC’s Song of the Summer contest. This contest has been very popular and successful, with more than 200 submissions and over 40 music industry professionals involved either as sponsors or judges.
For 2026 we decided to do BC’s song of the year instead!
